DAY 1 Lima (B)

Arrival in Lima and transfer from the airport to the hotel.

DAY 2 Lima (B)

Get to know Lima on a half day tour of the most important zones of the city.

​

DAY 3 Lima – Cuzco (B)

Transfer to the airport in the morning for the flight to Cuzco. Upon arrival in Cuzco transfer to the hotel. After check-in, take a half day tour of Cuzco and the nearby ruins.

DAY 4 Cuzco (B, L)

Visit the Sacred Valley of the Inca including Pisac with its colourful native market, and Ollantaytambo and its historic fortress. Lunch is included in Urubamba.

DAY 5 Cuzco – Machu Picchu – Cuzco (B, L)

After breakfast, transfer to the station and board the Vistadome train for the 3-hour 40-minute journey to Aguas Calientes and a 30-minute bus ride to Machu Picchu, the Lost City of the Inca. 

Following a guided tour through the citadel, lunch is served at Sanctuary Lodge before returning to Cuzco.

DAY 6 Cuzco – Lake Titicaca (B, L)

Transfer to the train station in the morning and board the Andean Explorer train to Puno and Lake Titicaca. The journey affords great views of the Andes and a glimpse into the lives of the people of the altiplano, their villages and animals like the vicuna and alpaca. Lunch is included on the train. Upon arrival in Puno transfer to the hotel.

DAY 7 Lake Titicaca (B, L)

This morning embark on a full day excursion on Lake Titicaca, the highest navigable lake in the world. See the artificial islands constructed of reeds, of the Uros people, and the ruins and hand art of the people of Taquile Island.

DAY 8 Lake Titicaca – Lima (B)

Transfer to the airport in the morning for the return flight to Lima. Connect to your flight back home or to an on-going destination.
