Day 1: Canada – Panama City (B)

Arrival in Panama City and transfer from the airport to the hotel.

Day 2: Miraflores Locks and Panama City (B)

Tour Panama City. Visit Casco Antiguo, the historic site of Old Panama, and enjoy the skyline of modern Panama. Head over to Miraflores Locks, which form the Panama Canal. Watch the ships pass by and all the operations held at Miraflores Locks. Enjoy a free afternoon of leisure. Overnight at Hotel.

 

Day 3: Colon (B)

After breakfast, spend the morning in Panama City. Choose your time for a rental car to be delivered to your hotel. Drive towards Colon—the main port and entrance to the Panama Canal on the Caribbean side and home to the largest free trade zone of the western hemisphere. Overnight at the Melia Panama Canal for 2 nights just 5 minutes from Colon.

Day 4: Portobello (B)

Enjoy breakfast, followed by some free time to explore the area. Travel to Portobelo, roughly 50 minutes from Colon. This is a small town by the bay full of history. Some sites in Portobelo have been named World Heritage Sites by UNESCO. Overnight at hotel.

Day 5: Gamboa (B)

Today, you will drive to Gamboa.

Take a boat to the small village. Located directly at the shore of Lake Gatun and the Chagres River, your hotel for 2 nights will be the Gamboa Rainforest Resort. Overnight.

Day 6: Gamboa (B)

After a delicious breakfast, spend the day exploring Gamboa.

 

Visit the Soberania National Park, famous for bird watching, or take a boat tour around monkey island, witnessing a variety of wild monkeys living in their natural habitats. Overnight at Gamboa Rainforest Resort.

Day 7: El Valle (B)

After breakfast and a morning in Gamboa, you will drive to San Carlos, crossing the famous Bridge of the Americas. Overnight.

 

Day 8: El Valle (B)

Explore and wander around the area of El Valle. Enjoy an array of activities such as hiking, horseback riding, bird watching, and more. You can also enjoy things such as canopy adventures, hot springs, the Aprovaca orchid farm, and El Nispero (the zoo and botanical garden). Don’t forget to try the must-visit gourmet restaurant known as Los Mandarinos. Overnight at hotel.

Day 9: Playa Blanca (AI)

Travel to Playa Blanca, the all-inclusive beach resort where you can finally relax and indulge yourself for a couple days. Your rental car company will be retrieving the car at the resort. Enjoy the resort and all the amenities it has to offer such as the spa, surfing, multiple restaurants, and much more. Overnight at Playa Blanca Resort. All meals included.

Day 10 -11: Playa Blanca (AI)

Free days to spend at Playa Blanca enjoying the many options available. All meals included. Overnight.

Day 12: Playa Blanca – Canada (AI)

Transfer to the airport for your flight back home or to an on-going destination.
