Day 1:  Canada – San Pedro Sula

Arrival in San Pedro Sula and transfer from the airport to the selected hotel. Overnight.

Day 2: Pico Bonito–Butterfly Farm and Serpentarium (B, L, D)

Spend time at the Butterfly Farm and Serpentarium located on the Lodge’s property. See a world of colour at the Butterfly Farm and learn of a different perspective from the snakes that live at the Pico Bonito National Park. This can be done with a guide or using self-guided tours (although a guide is necessary for the Serpentarium). Enjoy the rest of the day at leisure. Overnight at Pico Bonito.

Day 3: Pico Bonito – Cuero y Salado (B, L, D)

Visit Cuero Y Salado. This is a wildlife refuge sanctuary to crocodiles, manatees, white face and howler monkeys, and a large variety of birds. The trip will take half the day. Spend the rest of the day at leisure. Overnight at Pico Bonito.

Day 4: Pico Bonito – Lancetilla Botanical Gardens/Tela/Garifuna Village (B, L, D)

A day at the exotic wildlife and bird sanctuary, Lancetilla Botanical Gardens. Holding over 630 species of plants, Lancetilla is part of the Honduras protected areas and includes a forest preserve. This tour will also include a visit to the small banana port town of Tela where you can enjoy a seafood lunch on the beach. 

 

This will be followed by a visit to the local Garifuna village located nearby where you can indulge in the town’s community and culture.

 

Day 5: Roatan Island (B, L, D)

Transfer to Roatan Island. Overnight at beach resort.

Day 6: Roatan Islands – Bay Islands (B, L, D)

Snorkeling tour of the reefs of the Bay Islands. The Lodge offers 3 options for snorkelling tours.

​

Option 1: fly out to West End  to explore the small beach side before and after snorkelling at the reefs.

Option 2: spend the day at the North Shore, a beach typically secluded. This can be wonderful as a romantic getaway or time alone.

Option 3: travel by boat to La Ceiba to swim the uncharted reefs of the Cayos Cachinos. Return for an overnight at a beach resort.

 

Day 7: Roatan Islands (B, L, D)

Day at leisure to enjoy the resort and surroundings. Overnight at a beach resort.

Day 8: Roatan Islands to San Pedro to Canada (B)

Transfer to the airport for your flight back home or to an on-going destination.
