Depart Lima early by deluxe Cruz del Sur bus to Ica. Ica is located approximately 300km south of Lima in the heart of Peru’s grape growing region. Upon arrival in Ica check in at the Los Dunas Hotel for one night including continental breakfast. Then transfer to the airdrome for a one hour flight over Ica, Palpa and the famous Nazca Lines, huge drawings of birds, animals and geometric shapes, for which there is today no real explanation. Return to Ica and transfer to the hotel Las Dunas. Balance of the day is free.

After breakfast check out and depart for Paracas and a yacht cruise to the Ballestas Islands to see the thousands of sea birds and sea lions that live there. From the sea there is a spectacular view of one of the most mysterious of the “lines”, the candelabra, which points inland to the other lines. After excursion return to Hotel Las Dunas to catch the bus back to Lima. In Lima transfer to the hotel or the airport for departure.
