DAY 1 LIMA |
Arrival and transfer to selected
hotel in Lima. Overnight Lima. |
DAY 2 LIMA - CUSCO |
After breakfast , transfer to
the airport for the flight to Cusco. Upon arrival in
Cusco transfer to a hotel in the heart of the city.
In the afternoon embark upon a delightful tour of this
amazing colonial city built on the ruins of Inca palaces.
See the Temple of the Sun, the Plaza de Armas and the
cathedral. Later visit the Inca fortress of Sacsayhuaman,
the Kenko temple and Tambomachay, also known as the
“Baths of the Inca” Overnight Cusco. |
DAY 3 CUSCO |
After breakfast and checkout
in the hotel, depart for Urubamba Valley, the Sacred
Valley of the Incas. In the town of Pisac, visit the
colourful market. From Pisac continue to Ollantaytambo
and climb to the dramatic Inca fortress. Tour includes
lunch at a local restaurant. Overnight in Cusco. |
DAY 4 CUSCO |
After breakfast depart by train
for the journey to Machu Picchu. Enjoy a guided tour
of this most famous and spectacular of the Inca ruins.
Lunch is included. Return to Cusco for overnight. |
DAY 5 CUSCO - LIMA |
After breakfast transfer to the
airport for the return flight to Lima. Upon arrival
transfer to Lima hotel, then get to know Lima on a three-hour
tour of the city. Overnight Lima. |
DAY 6 LIMA - SANTIAGO |
Breakfast then transfer to the
airport for the flight to Santiago de Chile. Upon arrival
, get to know this vibrant capital on a half day tour
of Santiago: first visit the San Francisco church, which
was built between 1572 and 1618. Other sites include
the Cathedral Church, the Plaza de Armas, and the Cerro
Santa Lucia, where the city was founded in 1541. Overnight
Santiago. |
DAY 7 SANTIAGO |
After breakfast, embark upon
a full day excursion to Valparaiso and Vina del Mar.
In Valparaiso, Chile’s main commercial port, visit
the house of famed Chilean Nobel Prize winning poet,
Pablo Neruda, among many other sights. Continue along
the coast to Vina del Mar, “The Garden City”,
Chiles world famous beach resort. Lunch is included
in Vina. In the afternoon return to Santiago for overnight. |
DAY 8 SANTIAGO - PUERTO MONTT |
Breakfast then transfer to airport
for flight to Puerto Montt. After arrival in Puerto
Montt, transfer to the hotel in town. In the afternoon
enjoy a half-day tour of Puerto Montt and the surrounding
area including the beach resorts of Pelluco and Chinquihue,
as well as the historic towns of Puerto Varas, the “City
of Roses” and Puerto Chico with its German influence.

DAY 9 PUERTO MONTT - PUELLA |
After breakfast, check out and
depart by bus for Petrohue. En route pass Lake Llanquihue
and the Calbuco Volcano. Enter the Rosales National
Park to see the Osorno volcano and visit the Petrohue
waterfall. From here disembark by catamaran across Lake
Todos Santos to Puella. Check in and have dinner at
the hotel in Puella. |
DAY 10 PUELLA - BARILOCHE |
After breakfast and check out,
depart for the crossing into Argentina to Lake Frias
and Puerto Blest, then across Lake Huapi to Puerto Panuelo.
Disembark in Puerto Panuelo and continue by bus to Bariloche.
Overnight in bariloche. |
DAY 11 BARILOCHE |
After breakfast, depart on a
half day tour of the area including Playa Bonita. Take
the chair lift to the top of Campanario Hill and later
tour the Llao-Llao peninsula. Finally visit Puerto Panoramico
for an unforgettable sight of Llake Moreno and the Llao-Llao
peninsula before returning to Bariloche for a free afternoon.

DAY 12 BARILOCHE - BUENOS AIRES |
Following breakfast, check out
and transfer to the airport for flight to Buenos Aires.
In Buenos Aires, enjoy the sights of this cosmopolitan
capital on a half day tour of the city. The tour introduces
the most beautiful, and interesting parts of Buenos
Aires: the famous Casa Rosada, and the spectacular Recoleta
cemetery. Overnight Buenos Aires. |
DAY 13 BUENOS AIRES |
After breakfast, leave for a
full day Guacho experience on the nearby pampas. The
Fiesta Gaucha highlights the history and the distinctive
lifestyle of the gauchos, the famous cowboys of Argentina.
This highly entertaining and educational experience
features a traditional gaucho barbeque, an authentic
taste of the gaucho life on the pampas. Overnight Buenos
Aires. |
DAY 14 BUENOS AIRES |
Enjoy breakfast at your hotel
then take advantage of a free day to search out some
of the terrific bargains in the shopping districts.
In the evening immerse yourself in that most haunting
aspect of all Argentine culture, the Tango. Have dinner
and revel in the rhythms and dance of this famous music.

DAY 15 BUENOS AIRES - IGUAZU FALLS |
After breakfast at the hotel,
check out and transfer to the airport for the flight
to Iguazu Falls. Upon arrival in Iguazu enjoy a half
day tour of the Argentine side of this magnificent natural
wonder, the falls. Take the jungle train to the point
above the falls and walk out on the elevated walkways
to look down right into the Devil’s Throat, the
most spectacular part of the falls. Overnight Iguazu.

DAY 16 IGUAZU FALLS - RIO DE JANEIRO |
After breakfast at the hotel,
cross into Brasil and explore the other side of Iguazu
and a different perspective of the river and the cataracts.
In the afternoon check out and transfer to the airport
for the flight to Rio de Janeiro. Arrive Rio and transfer
to hotel in Rio. |
DAY 17 RIO DE JANEIRO |
After breakfast, get to know
“Rio” with a half day tour. Rio de Janeiro
is without a doubt the most photogenic city in the world.
The tour passes the beaches of Ipanema and Copacabana,
where girls in mini bikinis are very much a part of
the scenery, as are the groups of athletes playing volleyball
and soccer on the white sands. Visit the "Sambodromo",
where the world famous Carnival Parades take place and
the amazing Maracana Stadium with its capacity for 200,000
spectators. Overnight Rio. |
DAY 18 RIO DE JANEIRO |
After breakfast at the hotel,
enjoy the popular jeep tour to explore more of the city
and Corcovado Mountain, with its famous statue of Christ
the Redeemer, 710m above sea level. Overnight Rio. |
DAY 19 RIO DE JANEIRO |
Breakfast at the hotel then enjoy
a full day free to shop, see the sights and explore
more of Rio. In the evening celebrate your last night
in Rio with dinner accompanied by the tropical rhythms
