DAY 1

Arrive Santiago de Chile and transfer to the selected hotel downtown for 3 nights including breakfast. (B)

DAY 2

This morning get to know this interesting city on a half day city tour. (B)

DAY 3

Begin the exploration of Chilean wines with a full day tour to the winery of Santa Rita for an explanation of the wine making processes, a tasting of the wines and lunch. (B,L)

DAY 4

After breakfast, depart on a two-day excursion to the celebrated Colchagua Valley wine region. Upon arrival in Santa Cruz visit two of the principal wineries of the area before an enjoyable lunch at the Hotel Plaza Santa Cruz. In the afternoon visit the Colchagua Museum, an excellent private museum that traces development of the area from pre-colombian times. Tonight stay at the romantic Hotel Plaza Santa Cruz. (B,L,D)

DAY 5

This morning visit another of the wineries of the valley, and, after lunch at Santa Cruz Plaza, depart by private car for Vina del Mar on the coast. Upon arrival in Vina del Mar, check in to the selected hotel for three nights including breakfast (B,L)

DAY 6

See the sights of Valparaiso, Chile’s main port, and the resort of Vina del Mar. (B)

DAY 7

Day free to explore the shops and beaches (B)

DAY 8

Morning free. Afternoon transfer to the airport for departure.(B)
