DAY 1

Arrive Rio and transfer to selected hotel in Rio.

DAY 2

After breakfast at the hotel, get to know “Rio” with a half day tour. See the famous beaches of Ipanema and Copacabana. Continue on to Flamengo Park with its gardens and monuments, through Botafogo and pass the harbor, with its spectacular view of Sugar Loaf and Corcovado. Stop at the 20 story ultra-modern Metropolitan Cathedral with its four magnificent floor-to-ceiling stained glass windows, then travel to the "Sambodromo", and finally, on to Maracana Stadium with its capacity for 200,000 spectators, en route to the Rebouças Tunnel. (B)

DAY 3

After breakfast at the hotel, explore Corcovado: Departure for the Corcovado railway and ride through the forest to the top of the Corcovado Mountain and the statue of Christ the Redeemer, 710m above sea level. On the way back the tour continues through the "Rebukes" tunnel, passing the lake "Rodrigo de Ferias" to Sao Conrado, Barras da Tijuca and returning via the beaches of Barra, Sao Conrado, Vidigal, Leblon and Ipanema. DAY 4

Breakfast at the hotel then enjoy a full day free to shop, see the sights and explore more of Rio. In the evening celebrate your last night in Rio with dinner accompanied by the tropical rhythms of an excellent Samba Show. Overnight Rio (B,D)

DAY 5

After breakfast at the hotel, check out and transfer to the airport for the flight to Manaus, gateway to the Amazon. Upon arrival transfer to the Tropical Manaus Hotel selected hotel for one night including breakfast. (B)

DAY 6

After breakfast, travel up the Rio Negro to the incomparable Ariau Amazon Towers Resort for 3 nights to explore the beauty and majesty of the Amazon. This resort in the jungle will amaze: 370 rooms are located in eight towers constructed in harmony with nature and linked by walkways through the trees 10 meters in the air! At Ariau, breakfast lunch and dinner daily are included as are daily programmed excursions to explore the area. (B,L,D)

DAY 7

Enjoy the Amazon: today’s excursions include a hike in the forest, fishing for piranha and looking for alligators.(B,L,D)

DAY 8

A free day to relax and enjoy the facilities of the resort. (B,L,D)

DAY 9

After breakfast at Ariau Towers, head back to Manaus. Upon arrival check into Tropical Manaus Hotel for one night including breakfast.

DAY 10

After breakfast transfer to the airport for the flight to Salvador, Bahia. Upon arrival in Salvador, transfer to the hotel for 4 nights including breakfast (B).

DAY 11

Get to know Salvador on a half day city tour. Balance of the stay at leisure (B)

DAY 12

Free to enjoy Salvador (B)

DAY 13

Free to enjoy Salvador (B)

DAY 14

Transfer to the airport at the appropriate time for departure (B)
