DAY 1 Buenos Aires

Arrive Buenos Aires from Canada or by cruise ship and transfer to downtown hotel for 4 nights including breakfast.

DAY 2 Buenos Aires

Today enjoy the sights of this cosmopolitan capital on a half day tour of the city. The tour introduces the most beautiful, and interesting parts of Buenos Aires: the famous Casa Rosada, and the beautiful Recoleta cemetery. The guide will explain the history of the city, and how it has been affected by successive waves of immigration. (B)

DAY 3 Buenos Aires

After breakfast at the hotel, leave for a full day gaucho experience on the nearby pampas. The Fiesta Gaucha highlights the history and the distinctive lifestyle of the famous cowboys of Argentina. This highly entertaining and educational experience features a traditional Argentine barbeque, an authentic taste of life on the pampas. (B,L)

DAY 4  Buenos Aires

Enjoy breakfast at your hotel then take advantage of a free day to search out some of the terrific bargains in the shopping districts. In the evening immerse yourself in that most haunting aspect of all Argentine culture, the Tango. Have dinner and revel in the rhythms and dance of this famous music. (B,D)

DAY 5 Buenos Aires - Departure

Breakfast and the morning free. In the afternoon transfer to the airport or cruise port for departure. (B)
