After breakfast at the hotel depart for a half day city tour including the National Palace, the Cathedral and the Plaza of Three Cultures. (B)

Breakfast then explore Xochimilco, Mexico City’s floating gardens. Enjoy lunch on one of the boats, and in the afternoon visit the Museum of Anthropology. (B)

Breakfast at the Imperial, then depart on a full day tour to the Shrine of the Virgin of Guadalupe, the patron saint of Mexico, and then on the mysterious pre-Aztec ruins of Teotihuacan, famous for the gigantic pyramids to the Sun and the Moon. (B)

After breakfast, transfer to the airport for the flight to Los Mochis, and the start of the Copper Canyon train excursion. Upon arrival in Los Mochis, transfer to the Posada del Hidalgo Hotel in nearby El Fuerte. (B)

After breakfast, transfer to the train station for the departure of the “Chepe” train to Cerocahui and the Mision Hotel. Today enjoy a 3-hour tour to Gallego’s Overlook. Lunch and dinner at the hotel. (B,L,D)

Breakfast at the hotel then board the train for Posada Barrancas and the Mirador Hotel, overlooking the canyon. Explore the canyon on a 2-hour excursion. Lunch and dinner at the hotel. (B,L,D)

Breakfast at El Mirador then board the train for Chihuahua City. Dinner is served on board. Upon arrival in Chihuahua, transfer to the Palacio del Sol Hotel for overnight. Balance of day at leisure. (B,D)
