ITINERARY

7 NIGHTS / 8 DAYS

Day 1: Canada – Santiago, Chile (B)

Arrival in Santiago and transfer from the airport to the hotel. Rest of the day free.

Day 2: Santiago (B, L)

This morning, get to know this interesting city on a half day city tour. In the evening, pleasure your palate to the explosive flavours of Chilean cuisine during a 3-hour folklore show and dinner tour from Santiago.

Sample delicious dishes inspired by the region’s most popular recipes, feasting upon a 3-course meal and enjoy the music and vibrant colour of a Chilean folklore show, with the traditional dances and songs of Chile. Immerse yourself in the Chilean way of life.

Day 3: Santiago (B,L)

Begin the exploration of Chilean wines with a full day tour to the winery of Santa Rita for an explanation of the wine making processes, a tasting of the wines and lunch. 

Day 4: Easter Island (B)

Enjoy breakfast before you take a flight to Isla de Pascua. Transfer to your hotel and overnight in Easter Island.

 

Day 5: Easter Island (B, L)

Today is a full day at Ahu Tongariki and Anakena beach! Your tour will head to the south-east coast and north-east of the island to visit the Ahu Tkahanga; then, you will visit Rano Raraku, the volcanic crater.

It is in Ahu Tongariki that you will see plenty of moai and pukao—large statues and rock formations, seom as big as 85 tons and some with petroglyphs! True history lies here. Finish your day off at Anakena beach, with warm waters and white sands. Return to your hotel. Overnight in Easter Island.

 

Day 6: Easter Island (B, L)

Today, visit Orongo and Akivi. You will see Vinapu and its amazing crockeries, and Orongo’s ceremonial village where the bird man ceremony was held, designating who would be the spiritual and political leader with the king for one year. You will also visit Ahu Akivi, where there are 7 moais to represent the 7 scouts sent by the king Hotu Matua’a before his colonizing journey; then, you will continue to Uri a Urenga and Puna Pau. Return to your hotel and overnight in Easter Island.

Day 7: Easter Island (B)

Take a flight to Santiago and transfer to your hotel. Overnight in Santiago.

Day 8: Santiago (B)

Enjoy breakfast before transferring to the airport for your flight back home or to an on-going destination.
