ITINERARY – 9 nights/10 days

Day 1: San Jose

Arrival in San Jose and transfer from the airport to the hotel.

Day 2-5: Jaco Beach (B)

The Jaco Beach area attracts visitors from its exuberant tropical forests, green hills, pristine beaches, and national park its central location makes it an ideal place base for travelers that want to explore up and down the Pacific coast. Transfer to Jaco Beach and accommodation at a selected hotel for 3 nights is included.

Day 5: Arenal (B)

At Arenal you will find: One of the most active volcanoes of the world, cloud forests, lake world-famous for windsurfing and an incredibly diverse population of wildlife. Its biggest attraction is its famous Arenal volcano, also the Lake Arenal and The Tabacon River hot springs. Transfer to Arenal and accommodation for 2 nights is included. 

Day 6: Arenal (B)

Tour to Arenal Hanging Bridges. Hike and experience the 2 miles of our interpretive loop trail, crossing fifteen bridges, ranging from 16 to 330 feet long, suspended on the primary rain forest. You can do all the walking by yourself 

Day 7: Tortuguero (B,L,D)

Tortuguero is one of the Costa Rica’s most popular eco-tourism destinations. it is the location of the most important nesting grounds in the Western Caribbean for the green sea turtle, which you will be able to observe between July and October. Early transfer to Guapiles and on to Tortuguero area. Accommodation at the Evergreen Lodge or similar for 2 nights. In the afternoon tour to a nearby village and the Sea Museum of the “Caribbean Conservation Corporation” is also included 

Day 8: Tortuguero (B,L,D)

Boat tours along the canals of the National Park of Tortuguero, Discover a large variety of the flora and fauna of the area. Return to the lodge. Afterwards, take an optional hiking trip around the hotel property. Overnight at Evergreen Lodge (or similar).

Day 9: Tortuguero/ San Jose (B,L)

Return by boat to Guapiles. Transfer to the hotel selected in San Jose.

Day 10: San Jose (B)

Transfer to the airport for your flight back home or to an on-going destination.
